KORYN YOUNG - President and Owner
Koryn Young, Owner of Macon Experiences. Originally from San Dimas, CA, Koryn moved to Staten Island, NY in 1996 and was the lead Tour Operator and Event planner for a company specializing in student group trips. Finding her grown-up home in Macon, GA in 2008, brought her a sense of community where she took leadership roles with the Magnolia Soap Box Derby and Bragg Jam Concert Crawl. She is a 2012 Leadership Macon alum and continues to volunteer with many local events and non-profit organizations.
Koryn's love for the performing arts and participating in theatre was a perfect fit for her early career being a student group tour operator specializing in creating exciting experiences for high/middle school band, choir, dance, and theatre groups traveling for enrichment performing arts trips. When she started officiating weddings and offering her services to the LGBTQ community after the Supreme Court ruling in 2015, it was a natural step into wedding and event planning. She teamed up with another local wedding officiant, Kelly Sullivan-Joyner from Willow Cottage Weddings, and the rest is history.
When she is not planning events, you can find her serving as the Executive Director of Storytellers Macon, porch sitting with friends, enjoying time with her granddaughter, Adi, hanging with her amazing partner, Nathan, or chilling with her best dog and gal pal, Matilda.

RENEE' ORNDORFF
Coordinating Specialist
Renee’ Orndorff, Coordinating Specialist. Originally from Lancaster, PA, Renee' graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with her bachelor’s degree in Business Management in 2014. She is a Project Manager for the nation’s largest outpatient physical therapy company, Upstream Rehabilitation. Traveling across the country attending career fairs at universities, planning social events for the students at national PT conferences, and marketing for the department lead to her desire to plan weddings and events. In 2021, she relocated to Macon, GA, and joined Macon Experiences in the Summer of 2021.
Her earlier 10-year career in the restaurant industry encouraged her to understand the needs of clients and develop a rapport with vendors. At a young age, she loved weddings. She always finds joy in doing organizational tasks and bringing people together to have fun. Working with people and event planning comes naturally to her! When she relocated to Macon, she wanted to get more involved in her new community, so she reached out to Koryn for advice. Her advice: work with me!
When she is not working both jobs, you can find her hanging out with her dog – Cash and cat – Casper. She also loves; being near the water, live music, traveling and being with friends.

Paralegal by day, wedding officiant, elopement specialist, and wedding dreamer the rest of the time, full-time artist, and lover of life. Kelly’s been a Maconite since 2010, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and her father’s service job relocated the family to Warner Robins in 1975. Kelly majored in Fine Arts in college and went on to hold a fascinating array of jobs, among them Montessori teacher, graphic artist, and police officer; she even went to FBI training for forensic art, a job which has sadly since been taken over by computers, and she has drawn hundreds of composite pictures of witnesses/suspects.

Willow Cottage Weddings & Le Petite Miriage offers a variety of options for creating your special day – everything from simple ceremonies performed in the couple’s choice of venue to all-inclusive (along with Macon Experiences), intimate packages performed at the Le Petite Miriage Chapel located in downtown Macon on Mulberry St. (a romantic, charming, space in the Federal United building). The content of the ceremony can be tailored specifically to each couple’s wishes or a simple religious or secular ceremony can be provided for a romantic and simple elopement.
Koryn and Kelly have been planning events and weddings together since 2016 with the idea that love is love, and everyone deserves to have the wedding of their dreams no matter how big or small.
